A very warm welcome back and Happy New Year! 2019 is going to be a winner.  I hope that you are all well rested and enjoyed every moment with your most favourite people on the break. I am certainly refreshed and ready to get back into routine after spending my holidays living like a lady of leisure.

Our yard was an absolute buzz this week. In fact, it was literally buzzing on Wednesday afternoon when a group of our parents came down with their leaf blowers, in 37 degree heat, and made our yard spotless for our beautiful preppies who were arriving the next day. I love your community spirit and I thank you so much.  It was also fantastic to see students, parents and staff all mingling, catching up and sharing summer stories.  I am a very proud Principal.

We had 21 gorgeous preppies start last week and we also welcomed many new families to our community. Thank you to everyone who helped to make them welcome either through preparing the morning tea, giving directions or introducing yourselves. It is so appreciated. I was also very impressed with both the students and their parents because there were no tears! Well done to all. The rest of our students started off very well too and it was so cute to hear many of them excited to be ‘transitioning’ up to the next ‘school’.  It has been a wonderful, calm return.
